照片是妹拍的, 她说.. "我在客厅, 突然听到有人啊,噢的喊, 然后听到很大一声砰! 然后又有很多杂声. 快点开门在走廊向下看, 看到很多人跑去马路的方向........"

"搭电梯去楼下, 一噗人都走过去看.. ambulance 已经把一个人抬上车.. 他们讲是路人来的..很快leh, 不到5分钟就来了"

"有人讲是那辆volvo醉酒开车.. 开到反方向来, 和迎面而来闪不掉的货车相撞后.. 冲上路堤, 撞到两个路人.. 再杀车在远远的路边"

太危险了吧!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 喝酒就请别开车啦.. !!

My company got website woh..

Never know my company has a website until I saw it in the calendar. Hahaha...so slooww... it was done by big boss's son (eh.. he is a partime model lo.. quite yan dao. U can see him ard in the M1 2D advertisement).. just done last year and it is still raw with design layout & information. Nearly spill my drink out when I saw my name was indicated in the "Contact Us" page! wahpiang ~

So: no no.. it's Precast..
Immediately: Precast ? what's that?
I will say: OOoo... just like LEGO!!!!!

LEGO is my childhood toys too lo.. mix & match to create whatever you want. Yalah.. my company is doing precast (pre-fabrication of concrete component) then deliver to site.. main-con will hoist the individual component & install one by one.. this is cost effective and time saving for the construction cycle time. About 80% of a HDB residential building is constructed by Precast Component. So.. it's like LEGO rite?

Tough I don't like much of the functioning system in this company.. but I really proud of the products that we done. It's not that easy to transform the unique architectural designed component into a steel mould and eventually casted with concrete.. Ooo.. this sound like we are a bakery too.

The types of components ranging from Wall, Column, household shelter (bomb-shell.. the place to hide when the building being attacked.. HDB said, this stack of bomb-shell will not collapse eventhough the building already half down.. but who dare to try?).. to the small component like drains & wheel stopper (u can find this in carpark.. the two small kerbs provided to stop your rear tyres in a slot)..

Look at this.. precast U-drain. Is HDB too precise or too idealistic?? I can't imagine that even u-drain also make it into precast.. thought it's easier to do cast-in-situ ?? sometimes bcos of the requirement of HDB.. we need to do lots of work jus to cast this kind of small volume component out.. not so worth gua..

Haha... that's what my compony doing and that's what I'm working on.. Interesting?

My "Special" colleagues

I see my colleagues beside of the work...

a) almost everyday last to board the company bus.. whole bus of ppl waiting for you.. don't you feel paiseh? Everyone wish to go home early .. and it has been a habit to change the 730pm timing to 740pm to ciao ~~ pek cek !

b) everyone wan to have a cup of hot drink in the morning.. but no one would like to top up the water in the flask.. piang ~~ pls don't treat me like a maid in office jus bcos I'm a lady can or not ?!?! angry ~ 他们可是深懂前人种树, 后人乘凉的道理呀


c) at least take turns to go packet lunch la.. know u all "always busy" at the production yard and can't spare that 20 mins.. gns.. I become a nanny of colleagues?? Taking care of their meals too.. wah lao ~~~ come on.. it's not that I'm really that free to go lo.. it's I NEED TO EAT too.. nobody volunteer to buy .. who else I can rely?

d) Hey.. Mr dispatch.. I know most of the time u got nothing to do and yr work is purely dispatching. But pls don't show your IDLE time in the office by joking around with us or highlighting yr super Liverpool Fan club loh.. it's quite irritating sometimes.. we are not as leisure as you..

Why? I really can't stand with a person without self-automation.. 学校没有教什么是自动和自发吗?

前阵子的我, 抗拒上班, 嘴里一直说累… 直到有个人说 “光说不做，只能在原点盘旋”. 也对.. 抱怨并不能解决问题.. 我必须找一个出口. 很庆幸.. 一趟旅行回来, 脑瓜子清醒了许多, 心情也舒畅豁达多了. 休了几天假, 把恼人的工作搁一边… 真的很爽. 当人在忙得喘不气时, 心理就有种很不平衡的念头“难道我的生活只有工作吗?” .. 真的了解了, 只有自己能让自己观念更新.. 再抱怨下去只有加深心理的忧郁. 找一个门, 一个出口.. 放开自己.. 休息之后, 你就会知道, 是自己在挤压自己.. 自己恨自己为什么不能放开. 工作还是继续.. 但是至少, 我得到了心灵上的满足.. 紧绷的脑袋得到释放.. 现在, 我心甘情愿地工作着.. 一直到情绪无法负荷时.. 在找下一个出口吧!

朋友们.. 你们都怎么了? 真的让人挺担心的.. 不是工作就是感情.. 难道这就是我们的全部吗?

尘子也是在忍无可忍的情况下另谋高就, 可喜也可贺.. 你也才来SG不久.. 给点时间自己找一份合你缘的公司咯.. 看你是沉醉于幸福的滋润中..怎么还一直生病啊? 每次听你说wedding的打算, 让我觉得惭愧.. 盘算一拖再拖.. 好啦.. 祝你幸福啦.. 但是.. 不要因为想婚了而仿佛失去了你原有的犀利脑筋啊…

J, 近期让人担忧指数最高的一位. 那颗忧郁悲伤的心一直隐藏在外表下, 在独处当儿无时无刻完全沦陷于自我缅怀的情绪中.. 我有说错吗? 为何要如此? 口口声声说don’t worry I’m fine.. 你想骗我啊? 如果一直在单向的爱情路上.. 永远都没有尽头地.. 即使有尽头, 也不可能遇到他啊. 与其把爱这样地付出着.. 不如把那份爱转移到在你身边更爱你的家人朋友们..好不好? 不要再借着“一个人”来努力让自己坚强了.. 一面唱K一面泪流.. 很感人meh? 清醒地活过来吧!!

Was questioned by a colleague why am I sometimes smiling to the computer screen.. erBbss.. surely i can't say i'm Blogging & MSNing rite? I jus too attentive to the articles and the fun conversation some of the times..

Need to covered well while MSNing by not giving too much expression on the face now.. though the hands on keyboards can shows that I were actually working.. but the expression on face can't hide.. especially when other colleagues ard me are using the autocadd with crumpled forehead..

hm.. gotta be alert more liao..

Phuket trip - Day 4 Spa

Without any rush, we enjoyed our breakfast slowly, trying to get the most pleasure to have every bite and sip.. Took a few last photo ard the resort.. time to pack and ready for check out. Got the chance to browse others' blog before our SPA centre driver came to pick us up.

I got no idea where is that spa centre located, I only knew it's a 35 mins long journey which got us passby Karon beach (Karon beach is less crowded and not as Busy as Patong beach). Finally.. we reached and were welcomed by lots of thai humble young lady.. I chose Coffee Body Scrup & Orange oil massage. Hiak, no chance to try the sauna & Jacuzzi. Frankly, this is my first time of SPA lo.. before the massage, shower first.. then they gave me sarong to wear (everything take off, only sarang).. haha.. there go my 3 hours SPA session.. another naked experience.. back and front.. arrhh.. Shy lah!! Total shower 3 times.. the service include wash and blow of hair.. after the SPA.. I felt myself so COFFEE !!

We requested the driver to drop us at Patong central for dinner. That's really hungry after the massage!! Think the blood circulation or digestion really effective?! Had our last dinner at Phuket at Sabai Sabai which we went during previous trip. Think it owned by an Aussie but cook by local as I can see lots of Aus posters on the wall.. arh.. going to miss the local thai food here...

The sun begun to set and the wind is chilly.. maybe going to drizzle again? We took our last stroll along the beach (with luggage leh), beach chairs are kept .. the beach lovers have gone for dinner.. only left a group of ppl awaiting their parasailing.. It's the time ~ we took tuk tuk back to hotel and wait for our transport to Airport ..

Phuket trip - Day 3 Phi Phi Island

Thing wasn't work well on me on the 2nd nite.. I was thinking.. huh? What?? Now?!?! Arh.. strike 4D also not so lucky.. we ladies really don't expect the antie visit during the vacation.. Feeling so sad and disappointed.. I can't go for snorkeling tml.. and I keep praying that better don't give me stomach cramp during my phi phi cruise!!

Woke up very early to have breakfast and set off to the jetty for cruise.. yes, we are having Phi Phi Island day tour today!

Woaw.. the traffic in phuket city is really busy.. motorbikes are swerving around and between the vans & cars.. very daring. Finally reach the jetty for the cruise.. lot's of tourist going there.. tummy started to give me funny tricks.. I cover my face with my cap and sleep~

After an hour.. everyone seems energetic and starting moving to the side to take photo.. ha.. saw the mountain rocks with unique cliff that had battered by the waves and storm. Few mysterious caves were formed in between the cliff.. we cruise through the island shore and was shown from far the Maya Bay where Leonardo Dicarpio filmed "The Beach" years back. I can see lots of ppl on the Maya beach.. too bad cruise can't go further in .. only speedboat allowed. Nvm.. took a few photos.. we changed into another smaller ferry for snorkelling.

Though snorkeling is not the first time for me.. but this is his first try!! He went into a fish aquarium in the ferry.. trying to feed the fish with bread.. warh.. the fish is very garang and snatching with each other! Sitting at the side of ferry... I can see shoal and shoal of fishes swam through.

Sun is still hot, time to head to phi phi island for lunch. Lunch were included in the package at phi phi resort. The phi phi town is really small.. only can see one main street with mostly souvenior stalls and diving centres. Diving centres mostly owned by foreigner, putting a TV at front door to show their best found location for the amazing underwater world. The beach at Phi Phi island is a nice scenery too

Back to resort is about 6pm alr.. after the shower.. I have some snacks & drink at the balcony.. looking at the cloudy sky .. it's going to be another drizzling nite again ~ hm.. where shall we have the dinner tonite?

Bcos of the rain.. I prefer to have meal indoor. Chose the Tiger Inn restaurant bcos of their special renovated café. All the columns were diverted as a tree trunk and all chairs & tables are cottage style... feel like having meal in the forest eh ~ We had a mix European & Thai food .. very nice food and environment ya !

Phuket trip - Day 2

We had our fabulous breakfast buffet at the hotel cafe. The food was very nice and we had our fill. Looking out from the café, the scenery is really chill out, u can see a green playground follow by beautiful swimming pool with beaches and sea as the background. There’s another sky pool with Jacuzzi on top of the café overlooking the beautiful beach too.

After breakfast, we began our expedition again that is to walk the whole patong beach area since we got one whole day to do it. It’s windy but it’s hot too! Along the beach street, I noticed a lot of new shopping bazaar, lots of new & significant restaurant & bar. I think the most changes here are “Tsunami Evacuation Route” signboards were seen everywhere and the road became one way direction. If wan to take tuk tuk, it need to turn a big round which mean the rate are almost standard regardless your destination is only mile stone away as they said “200 baht standard, we need to make one round come back here”.

The beach was full of tourist having sun tan & books reading on their beach chair. The ang moh really can just spend their day sun tanning under the sun. The street was full of stalls selling clothes, bags etc.. tourist counter selling different tour package.. massage centre with thai gal calling “massage ~ massage~” at front door.. lots of arties drawing the portrait.. lots of tailor shop.. wah piang.. who wan to tailor made costume there oh? Phuket is still the same & familiar in my eyes!

We spend our evening with an hour of thai massage and beauty nap on the beach chair.. gosh.. got sunburn in the end.. but it’s very soothing to fall asleep with the whisper from the waves..

We were attracted by the giant tiger prawn and can’t wait for the charcoal grilled prawn to fill our tummy. We have a thai meal and of cos my favourite tom yam soup! Yummy.. it started to drizzle again after the dinner.. arh.. don’t wish to go back so early.. we hide into starbucks for a cup of ice mocha.. the live band restaurant beside starbucks let us enjoy free show too!

There was a small surprise before my dinner when we walk pass the seafood stalls.. the world is really small.. I thought only Genting stands the highest chance to bump into frds.. who knows?? We met !!!

Phuket trip - Day 1

It was our first time to take Tiger Air and fly off from budget terminal.. though the craft is small.. the flight attendances are sweet, take off and landing by ang moh pilot is great.

It was drizzling lightly that nite when we reached Phuket international airport. We walked towards the tour agent and he greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. Learnt from the guide that it's monsoon season and consider low tourist season for phuket now. Immediately, memories of the beautiful phuket scenery flashed our mind since we were in phuket two years ago. In my heart, I was thinking how was phuket like after the tsunami? Will it be the same as two years ago?

We then board the tour agent bus and we were the only passengers (like 霸王车). The agent was very funny and his name is Rambo (that's cool!). He took out a few leaflets to introduce to us what are the local attractions in phuket. There are many options available and we finally shortlist two main events that is the "Phi Phi Island Day Tour" and "SPA at Island Herbal".

Along the way from airport to patong beach, we peep outside the bus and looked around the streets. There were actually not much changes to patong beach, original stalls were still at the same places. In fact, phuket is more beautiful now. Many hotels are upgraded and renovated very nicely. The street is as usual crowded and noisy. After about 35 min ride, we finally reach our hotel "Phuket Graceland Resort & Spa" . The hotel is at the right end of Patong beach and it is about 10-15 min walk to the bustling centre part of patong.

Feeling very happy, I tipped the bell boy who carried our luggages with 100 baht. Gosh so generous of me! The room was very big with one queen and one single bed. The shower room has a big bath tub and a separate shower area. The TV not only have korea, Thailand channels but it also have Chinese, French, Spanish channels. Hmm, this resort is catered especially for korea, austrialians and Chinese tourists.

气愤. 担忧

当我还在phuket的时候, 绕了大家的blog一圈.. 关于JB的治安问题成了周末的焦点课题.. 回来之后, 报纸也都是这些新闻.. 我很惊讶.. 当第一个劫奸案发生在5月初时.. 老板看了报纸还提醒我在油站打油要小心一点.. 看了报道.. 真的心有余悸.. 为受害的孕妇悲愤!

那时就心想.. 自己要小心一点了.. 根本就不寄望警方会缉拿匪徒.. 没想到, 事隔1个半月.. 又发生另外两起.. 这时.. 大家才觉醒危怠的治安?? 这时候的警方才来重点追查匪徒?? 有没有搞错?!?!!

不管是华社的施压, 媒体的抄做还是警方的办案能力.. 大家能做的.. 就是万事小心.. 我也不敢自己驾车出门.. 或在大道旁人少的地方打油了.. 接下来就看后续怎么发展咯! 不要又不了了之就好...

Damn Pain

had a very painful stomachache last nite... it was so painful that I cried out.. rolled myself on the bed and groan.. it's not laosai lo.. (是就好咯!) really don't know what causes it!!! there was a moment i thout of going hospital as it might be appendicitis (盲肠炎).. the pain is grinding my stomach and it's really killing me, making myself sweat and weak.. in the end i took one 保济丸 and 昏睡过去...

What happen?? is it food poisoning? that's really a nightmare !!!!!

yesterday took 1 day mc and rest at home, cook porridge for myself and watching 金三顺. 烦死人.. main-con电话一直来.. 我理都没有理.. 最无聊的就是两个同事SMS来 "do you know where is the sony camera?" TMD... 你可以想象连这么鸡毛蒜皮的事也是我的工作范围?? 而且是在我MC的当儿?? TMD x n

根本就不想来上班! 烦

If you like to eat nyonya kueh or traditional chinese kueh like 饭粿, 笋粿, 芒光粿, 菜粿, 金瓜糕etc... or the six bar bread like curry gantang, garlic, coconut, redbean... etc.. I recommend you to go to above address for their cheap and nice food !!!

really yummy!! 饭粿 only selling at 50cents per piece.. my favorite is the curry gantang bread!! seldom see bakery have this bake!!

I only tried once.. belanja by boss for all the staff..

hiak hiak.. dare dare to order this Swordfish collar with Mango vinaigrette sause at Fish & Co. last week.. never try before okay..

When it served... OH my God !! it's just look like two chunk of KFC chicken with fries in the pan !! Look at the picture !! hm.. the fish got big bones... and i can taste a very strong fishy taste of the fish, i can't take this taste.. in the end, i only can finish one chunk.. wickedly.. i swap my pan with his popular fish & chips !!

Lesson learnt: survey before you order.. if you like KFC fish.. you can try it too ~

First full weekend @ tiong bahru

星期五晚上当<<隔世追凶>>的片尾曲响起, JX的电话就来了. 那么好客+善良的我怎么可能不让她来借宿勒? 非常体贴的我还亲自到tiong bahru plaza 接人. 哇.. 手提包包, 电脑包包, 3L的酒, 还有一箱的零食... 这就是你回来的家当?? 一路回家的路上, 还很有企图的用周遭的公寓来骗当成我的家.. 以掩饰我所处的平民窟! 她就是我迎来的第一客.. 说真的, 一起躺在床上聊天的夜晚, 距离大一到现在已经是7年前的事了...

星期六天还没黑我就到家了.. 家里两子人看了一天的Prison Break.. 真是享受!! 冲了凉.. 一家三子人+御用司机想到那tiong bahru market 吃晚餐.. 结果绕来绕去.. 都要到chinatown了都不知道那传说中的tiong bahru market 在哪里?? Temporary 的已经拆掉了.. 要是你知道... 麻烦告诉我. 后来绕回来havelock road 吃肉骨茶.. 因为看那店外满满是人.. 一碗肉骨$5, 对我来说有点贵! 还是喜欢新山的药材汤底.. 到底是谁发明楜椒bakuteh的啊? 住在这里, 发现常有跑车驶过.. 竟然在这里让我看到一个胖子uncle 驾跑车来吃肉骨茶, sorry loh, 香车是绝对要配帥哥的.. 所以看到这个.. 有点喷饭... 因为昨晚太迟睡... 我10点就睡着了.. 真是早的可以.

星期天起的早.. 就和dear步行到对面的巴刹吃早餐.. 人很多.. 阿公阿嬷都霸着位, 翘着脚在磕牙勒!! 之后顺道去NTUC买了些货.. 够方便勒.. NTUC 无所不在. 一直看电视.. 就是酱.. 当另两家子都有laptop而我没有时.. 电视是我唯一的精神寄托良伴! <<在中国的故事>>, 王绍伟到甘? (忘了!) 去揭开长在山上的发菜的秘密.. 裕固族冒着寒风到山上徒手抓起散步在山头,连自己都不舍得吃的发菜....<<夜森林>>介绍Bangkok.. Oh JX.. Luan Sum Night Market 跟 Chaduchat一样大, 但是是daily, 还有H1 Complex 玻璃屋, Playground 卖贵死人的designer clothes, 还有Cabbages & Condoms 把 condoms当纪念品的Restaurant.. 记得下次回去的时候去看看哦!

打扫了屋子.. 就想去Queensway买鞋. 以前只有在NTU的时期..才会想去Queensway买鞋吧! 就象买IT products一定要去SIM LIM 一样.. 为什么想去Queensway?? 因为靠近啦!!! 酱?

我有一对6号脚.. 最common的size就是每次都有no more stock for this size的厄运!! 我的脚板大.. 只有平头布鞋最适合我.. 高跟鞋永远不是我的最爱, 我可没有Tin的功力!! 天天跟着我的狗狗Hush Puppies布鞋已经开始脱色+洞洞了. 决心去买鞋!! 因为心里有个目标要买Adidas.. 所以选鞋时也没什么困扰.. 气!! 有一款只有在一间店看到, 很喜欢.. 结果 “sorry no more size for you!” 气气气! 走了一圈.. 回到Limited Edition的店.. 把一眼就看上的Adidas Spider买了! Yeah.. 有新鞋咯!!

今晚一家子人决定煮饭哦! 我的肉碎马铃薯真的不错勒!! 第一次实验.. 成功!!!!

Today is 01/06/07, the starting day to mark the 2nd half of YR 2007.

so unlucky.. I was drenched during the downpour in morning.. half way inspection with MOM.. run to shelter also can't avoid the strong wind and rains splashing in.. arh !!!!

wat a day!
